Kitty Powers' Speed Date - Decision Time!

Hello Kittens! It’s me, Kitty Powers, with more exciting news about my latest game, Kitty Powers’ Speed Date! If you didn’t know already, it’s due for release on all mobile platforms on November 22nd, and best of all it will be absolutely free! You’ll even be able to watch optional advertisements for free in-game rewards! You can’t beat free stuff can you, Kittens! Lovely!

Anyway, let me carry on filling you in with all the delightful details of Kitty Powers’ Speed Date! At the end of every speed dating event, you’ll be presented with a list of the best potential matches that you made (up to a maximum of eight), then you’ll have to pick which one is the best of the best! You do this by comparing the characters and their likes and dislikes in the profile comparison screen! The more information you’ve revealed about each character, the easier it will be! Hurray!

Also, bear in mind that if you want a truly humongous high score, you’ll need to get at least eight potential matches and then find the best match of that eight! It’s because your score is doubled for finding the top match!

Another thing to note is, that once you have found eight potential matches during the speed date event, you will then earn an insight for each additional potential match you make! More about that in another article, though! I wouldn’t want confuse you with too many details at once!

Hi Kittens!

It’s me, the one and only Kitty Powers! Here I am again, with some fresh Speed Date titbits for your delectation! This time, I’m going to be filling you in on asking questions!

Let’s get straight down to business, shall we? No mucking about! When on a speed date, it’s important that you ask the candidate the right questions, because it will help you make an informed decision at the end of the date, when it’s time to make your final choice!

During the speed dating event, you can ask each potential partner revealing questions, so you’ll be able to make a better choice when it’s decision time! This is done be clicking on the symbols in the question wheel! The more questions you ask, the more will be revealed, and the easier it will be at the end, when you have to pick the best match for your client!

There are questions on all sorts of subjects, like personality, occupation, and interests! Bear in mind though, that you are against the clock, and the more questions you ask, the less time you might have to ask the next candidate! Ooh! It’s a bit of a toss up, isn’t it Kitten!

Ultimately, it’s up to you to decide which questions to ask, if any, or whether to just make a snap decision and try to get more potential partners! Could be a bit risky if you know nothing about anyone, though! The choice is entirely yours!

Kitty Powers' Speed Date - Types!

Hiya! It’s me, Kitty Powers, with some more delightful info about my new game, Kitty Powers’ Speed Date!

Okay! Let’s talk about types! Every character has a type which determines how they feel about other characters. There are ten different types of character, which in no particular order, are edgy, vintage, geeky, hippy, arty, chic, sporty, glam, hipster and practical.

A character’s likes, dislikes and preferences can be predicted to a certain extent by their type. Each type has their own consistent personality traits, but there will always be traits that are unpredictable! As an example, an edgy type will always be modern and spicy! A vintage type will always be traditional and romantic! It’s basically your job to tease as much information out as possible during the course of the game! If you’re not sure what type a client is, you can ask Kitty to tell you at the beginning of every game. Kitty is so helpful like that!

In general, two characters of the same type will get on well together, but not always! There may be other factors that could doom the relationship from the start, like a bad habit, or an appalling choice of outfit! Oh dear! On the other hand, it’s always possible that two characters that aren’t the same type might get on like a house on fire! Yay!

It’s me again, Kitty Powers, your friendly, neighbourhood drag queen game developer, ready with another delightful morsel of exciting Speed Date news!

This time, I want to give you a run down on all the goss on the characters, and how it will affect the outcome of the game! Ooh! Sounds intriguing!

Anyway, let’s talk about characters. All the characters are procedurally generated, and you’ll never encounter the same character twice! They also fall into one of ten different category types, but more about that in another article! All this means that every single client and candidate has a unique profile! Their profile will include their likes and dislikes, their job, their habits, good and bad, their interests and even their guilty pleasure! Not only that, but they will also have their own sense of style when it comes to fashion and they will certainly be picky about what a potential partner looks like! Basically, the more things two potential partners like about each other, the more likely they are to have a successful relationship - just like real life!

It’s ultimately up to you to decide whether two characters, a client and a candidate, are actually suitable, and in the end, their ongoing happiness is in YOUR capable hands! Imagine that!
