Having issues with Kitty Powers' Matchmaker? Here are the questions we're most frequently asked.

A note on Let's Play Videos

Kitty Powers' Matchmaker uses licensed music because we have a LOT of music and it's expensive to get your own composed.

Because of that though, you MAY have issues when posting 'Let's Play' videos to Youtube because it detects the music and puts a content claim on it. Sadly our license does not currently cover other people broadcasting that music and making money from those broadcasts.

We may be able to change that in the future (depending on how much it will cost us!), but for now we would advise you to turn the music off in the options menu before recording your game footage. This will eliminate the issue.

You are totally safe to leave all other sound effects on as loud as you like as they belong to us :-)

Facebook FAQ

There is just a white box when I try to log into Facebook!

Check your Facebook notifications. If your security settings are set to high, you should get a notification that a device that is trying to access your Facebook. Follow the instructions to authorise the app (you may need to do this in a browser) and then try to log into Facebook again. If you still have problems, please contact us.

I get an error message after connecting another device to Facebook!

Unfortunately you can currently only connect one device to a Facebook account at a time. If you want to connect your game to a different account, you may also have to log out of the Facebook app on your device.

Online FAQ

How do I delete my online information / opt-out of online services from in the game? 

  1. Click the ID card in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
  2. Click the 'Online' button on the avatar information screen.
  3. Click the 'Disable Online' button on the online overview screen.

Gameplay FAQ

How come I just bought the game but the weekly competition is on day 2/3/4/5/6/7?

The weekly competition runs in real-time! To synchronise the game across all devices, the game runs on UK Time and each day changes at midnight Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Therefore the scores are tallied and you will receive your prize every Monday morning GMT.

How do I select a customer in the Lobby Screen?

Just tap on them and they will get excited and tell you a little about themselves. Then press the pink button in the bottom right to take them to the hot-seat.

Why haven't I had an Avatar Letter yet?

Avatar letters are generated when your character has visited other peoples games and gathered enough information to give us a good picture of their love life. The server technology for generating avatar letters is rather experimental and is still evolving! Currently it can take a while to generate a new letter, but we are working on improving this!

Can I reset my game and progression?

Yes you can! Just click on the ID card on the main menu and you'll find the reset game button.

Do I have to have a randomly generated avatar?

No you don't, just pick the one that looks closest to how you want it to look and then click the edit button that will appear.
